Brad Newton

Manager, Customer Solutions

As Director of Implementations at Aptean, Brad is responsible for implementing Aptean EAM including Best Practices integrations and upgrades.

He has over 15 years’ experience implementing software applications in various vertical markets, such as Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing and Energy. Brad’s experience in the Enterprise Asset Management industry includes development, integration and training where he takes a strategic approach to meet aggressive project deadlines.

Brad attended Southern Wesleyan University earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, as well as his Masters of Business Administration from Winthrop University.

Sammy D. Rice, III

Aptean EAM & EAM Consultant

Sammy brings over 18 years of technical and management experience to Aptean. As Aptean EAM and EAM Consultant, his responsibilities are to conduct both general Aptean EAM training and specific role-based mobile functionality training, participate in solution design and perform application and solution development to meet project requirements.

Prior to joining Aptean, Sammy held key roles at BMW Manufacturing Corporation, Caterpillar Hydraulics, Hengst Automotive, and Continental Tire AG where he gained in-depth knowledge on SAP development and configuration. He possesses a background in logistics, maintenance, inventory control/materials management, and supply chain.

Sammy graduated from Southern Wesleyan University with a Master of Science in Management, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and Associate Degree of Business.

Andy Richter

Strategic Engagement Manager

As Strategic Engagement Manager, Andy provides customers with project management, change management, solution architecture and software implementations to help maximize their Aptean EAM ROI.

With over 20 years of experience managing people and projects, Andy has sharply focused on implementing Best Practices and improving the ability to deliver solutions to asset-intensive industries. Andy leverages his deep domain knowledge of the Asset Management and Project Management methodologies to add value for our customers.

Andy became an expert with CMMS / EAM solutions though his key positions with Infor, Cetaris and Schneider National prior to joining Aptean.

Andy graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor’s Degree, and he is also a PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Jeromy Risner

Sr. Application Engineer / Reliability Consultant

As Sr. Applications Engineer and Reliability Consultant at Aptean, Jeromy helps clients integrate maintenance Best Practices into CMMS / EAM implementation. He also serves as a training specialist, PM / PdM program specialist and precision maintenance practitioner.

Jeromy brings in over 20 years of technology and maintenance experience as a consultant in multiple industries including Chemicals, Manufacturing, Mining and Pulp & Paper. He possesses a background in maintenance management, predictive maintenance, reliability engineering and continuous improvement.

Prior to joining Aptean in 2008, Jeromy held key roles at Hexion Specialty Chemicals and NOVA Chemicals, where he participated in programs including Predictive Maintenance, Mechanical Integrity and Master Data Administer.

Jeromy graduated from Old Dominion University and is a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP).

Oscar V. Solis

EAM Consultant

As EAM Consultant, Oscar is responsible for the implementation, training and support of Aptean’s products and solutions. With his extensive knowledge of Aptean EAM and Best Practice implementation, Oscar facilitates onsite clinics and training sessions of strategies and techniques.

Oscar brings in over 34 years of Maintenance Management experience in various vertical markets such as Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Food Processing and Mining Operations. He is an expert in the field of Work Process Flow and Work Execution.

Prior to joining Aptean, Oscar served as a Maintenance Specialist at Geneva Steel and Escondida Copper Mine, where he reviewed routine maintenance, performed equipment assessments and supported area planners in the development of routine work orders.

Oscar graduated from Durham Business School of Houston Texas with a Business Administration degree.

Mike Willard

Aptean EAM & Strategic Consultant

As Aptean EAM & Strategic Consultant at Aptean, Mike acts as a functional consultant during implementation, trains End Users, facilitates with setup and develops strategies to take advantage of identified opportunities.

Mike brings in over 30 years’ experience as a Maintenance Professional. He is a subject matter expert in various vertical markets such as Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Chemicals and Mining. Mike’s experience has allowed him to assist in developing training plans and materials, coach and train client leadership in Best Practices and implement reliability and sustainability processes.

By serving 20 years in the U.S Naval Submarine Service, he gained in-depth knowledge on training, expertise, leadership and the ability to interact with clients on all levels.
