The Tyler Refinery was sold to Delek Refining Ltd. in April 2005.
Crown Petroleum has two refineries producing approximately 150,000 bbl per day.
They began using the TabWare OnLine service in January 2000. Their choice to use TabWare OnLine was due to the short time to implement and the low cost. They squeezed what would have normally been a 3 to 6-month implementation into 1-1/2 to 2 months. This was half to a fourth of the time expected. TabWare OnLine also offered a significantly reduced purchase cost, eliminating significant infrastructure that their IS department will not have to support. The users at Crown also found TabWare OnLine extremely user friendly. Sixty people were trained in 2-hour classes held in one week, with users actively engaged with the package the following week. Crown also believes they have all the benefits that come with using a recognized top CMMS package, allowing Crown to meet all regulatory requirements for a refinery. They have moved from scattered data on various databases to the centralized TabWare OnLine work order system and are continuously entering data into their equipment module. With TabWare OnLine, Crown expects to begin using more predictive maintenance procedures and has plans to interface TabWare with their SAP accounting system

Among international energy companies, ExxonMobil is widely recognized as an industry leader. Even with this expertise, ExxonMobil found some problems in the flow of its U.S. refinery maintenance processes. A decision was made to seek solutions to streamline and seamlessly integrate work processes for work initiation planning, scheduling, and work execution. These new work processes had to be consistent at five of ExxonMobil’s U.S. refineries.
After extensive research, a cross-functional manufacturing team from ExxonMobil selected TabWare as its software solution to streamline its maintenance operations. ExxonMobil selected TabWare for its flexibility and ease-of-use, AssetPoint’s business strength and knowledge, product technology and vision, and its partnership strengths. Since implementation, ExxonMobil has realized significant benefits from TabWare including efficient management of work backlog, more effective job planning, improved resource allocation, increased preventive maintenance planning/tracking, and improved communication between production and maintenance personnel. ExxonMobil has also successfully interfaced TabWare with SAP financials.
ExxonMobil Corporation is currently using TabWare to successfully manage its work processes at its U.S. refineries. Over 4,000 ExxonMobil employees use the system. The first installation was completed in 1995 with the last, domestic installation completed in 1997.
