TabWare EFx Offshore is an integrated maintenance, inventory, requisitioning and purchasing suite that handles your maintenance, and supply chain needs including freight forwarding.

TabWare EFx Offshore is designed for the rig environment with simple, intuitive navigation, multi-lingual support, with role-based security. Technicians only see what they are authorized to do.
It's easy-to-use features and functions make TabWare EFx Offshore quick to implement. Based on Microsoft Windows XP standards for look & feel, it's simplified User Interface is readily accepted by by the work force. TabWare's highly consistent User Interface makes navigation training quick and easy.

Database Architecture That Simplifies Managing Multiple Rigs
TabWare EFx Offshore maintains each rig's data segregated from all other rigs' data within the master database at headquarters. Headquarters can access all rig data and conduct analyses and reporting on their entire fleet, vessels of a particular class or other criteria without impact to rig operations. Rig management accesses only their rig's data.
As new equipment is purchased, new items added to inventory, new suppliers identified, new employees hired, and PM programs are defined and changed, headquarters management can update individual rig data as well as selected vessels or the entire fleet to accruately maintain their databases.
At headquarters, buyers can take advantage of TabWare's Centralized Purchasing to buy for their fleet, interact with their supply chain and work with freight forwarders. Freight forwarders can record receipts within TabWare (with proper security and authentication, of course) to speed payments and notifiy rigs of impending replenishment.

Data Synchronization with Headquarters
TabWare EFx Offshore synchronizes data between rigs and headquarters with transaction-based application functions and not database replication. This minimizes data synchronization issues and data conflicts in the master database at headquarters and minimizes the amount of data actually transmitted. Since all rig data are segregated within the headquarters database, multiple, concurrent rig synchronization is supported with ease.
Should a rig ever need a new database, TabWare EFx has features to refresh the rig's onboard database.

Automatic Communications Monitoring
AssetPoint's automatic communications monitor keeps you working regardless of communications connectivity with headquarters or other land-based operations.
When data communications are interrupted onboard a rig, TabWare immediately alerts TabWare EFx Offshore to run locally. All TabWare features and functions are continuously available and running without regard to communications. If fact, onboard users are never aware of communications with headquarters. All transaction data are stored in the rig's onboard database for later synchronization with headquarters when communications are restored.
At headquarters, when data communications are interrupted to one or more rigs, TabWare immediately alerts TabWare EFx Offshore. All headquarters activity including transactions and master data maintenance for the affected rigs are stored in the headquarters database for later synchronization when communications are restored to one or more of the affected rigs.
Once data communications are restored TabWare EFx Offshore at headquarters and onboard the rig automatically start data synchronization.

Performance with Low Bandwidth / High Latency Communications
Assetpoint has conducted benchmark testing with a 3rd party to document response times with bandwidths as low as 64kbps and latency as high as 2,000 ms with highly acceptable respose times. AssetPoint will provide the test results document to qualified prospects upon request.
