Eagle Rock Energy Selects TabWare for Asset Management

Greenville, SC – February 4, 2015 – AssetPoint, a leading provider of Computerized Maintenance Management Software / Enterprise Asset Management (CMMS / EAM) solutions, announced today that TabWare CMMS / EAM has been chosen to manage Eagle Rock Energy’s natural gas gathering, processing and treating assets at the Escambia operations in Southern Alabama.

Eagle Rock Energy Partners is headquartered in Houston, and they exploit, develop and produce hydrocarbons in oil and natural gas properties in the United States. Their upstream business operations include Southern Alabama, where they gather, process and treat oil and natural gas. Eagle Rock’s operations in the south Alabama region include the Big Escambia Creek, Flomaton and Fanny Church fields.

After an extensive review of CMMS / EAM solutions, the cloud-based TabWare solution was selected by the Escambia operations management team based on its Oil & Gas focused functionality, ease-of-use advantages for maintenance personnel and proven success in the industry. Representatives from the management team spoke with several existing TabWare Oil & Gas customers to learn how TabWare meets their maintenance and process safety management (PSM) needs. TabWare will be used to manage all equipment, maintenance, inventory and purchasing activities across the Escambia operations.

Due to deep Oil & Gas industry experience, AssetPoint understands the regulatory compliance and asset maintenance challenges facing Oil & Gas organizations, and many choose TabWare because of its ability to track moveable assets at all times, capture maintenance history and costs and support Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) programs such as PSM. TabWare’s demonstrated ease-of-use for rig managers and field technicians allows rapid user adoption without disrupting day-to-day operations. The Oil & Gas industry is dependent on the success of their assets, and TabWare’s preventive maintenance (PM) system is the first line of defense against unplanned downtime and equipment failures, resulting in an increase of the number of operating days in the field and average revenue per day.

Keith Reaves, Operations Supervisor for the Escambia Plant, said, “We really like how easy TabWare is to use, because as far as our end users go, the simpler the better. Without being overwhelming and complicated, TabWare’s robust functionality and flexibility meets all of our needs for both maintenance and PSM, and the ability to easily record non-work order events for incident reporting is an added bonus.”

AssetPoint has been a leader in CMMS / EAM solutions for over 30 years, and TabWare, a Best-in-Class CMMS / EAM solution designed by maintenance professionals for maintenance professionals, is utilized by organizations of all sizes and in many industries, such as Oil & Gas, Discrete and Process Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Chemicals and Mining & Metals. TabWare maximizes asset performance and improves maintenance efficiencies, resulting in reduced operating costs and higher profit margins. TabWare is easy to learn and easy to use, so organizations are able to get up and running in days. AssetPoint offers three flexible deployment options: Software as a Service (SaaS), Online (hosted) and On-site for organizations who want TabWare on their own servers. TabWare is the leading CMMS / EAM solution for organizations that want full functionality without the expense, resources and time other solutions demand.

AssetPoint Director of Oil & Gas Global Accounts, Brad Smith, said, “We are excited that Eagle Rock Energy has chosen TabWare as their CMMS / EAM solution for their Escambia operations and look forward to working with them to achieve a successful and efficient roll-out.
