Job Description:
The Customer Care Specialist is primarily responsible for interfacing with customers by phone and via email in a customer support capacity to resolve application and technical support issues. Some technical skills (basic SQL, desktop troubleshooting, basic programming concepts, interapplication interfaces) and software testing skills are required for this role, with a demonstrated ability to solve problems and professionally handle all types of customer interface situations
Requirements:
Applicant must have a BA/BS degree with a minimum of three to five years of related
work experience.
- Prior customer support experience for a complex software package is required.
- Industry background in manufacturing systems and/or CMMS/EAM packages is a plus.
- Other skills required:
- Microsoft Office suite of tools,
- Microsoft Windows proficiency, and
- Experience with desktop sharing tools.
Ability to be flexible, work with a team, and wear multiple hats is important to this role. Must have demonstrated the ability to solve problems and should be able to get assignments done independently within the team framework. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
