Job Description:
The .Net / Web Applications Developer is primarily responsible for designing, developing and testing software to operate over the Internet using .Net technology from Microsoft Corporation and other Internet design and development tools according to business and application specifications and adhering to development methodologies and standards. Some travel is required.
Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree; prefer a Computer Science or Business/MIS degree with a minimum of three to five years of related work experience. The skills for the position are as follows:
- Microsoft .NET/C#
- Visual Studio
- Web Services
- HTML/XML/JavaScript front end development techniques
- Oracle and/or MS SQL Server development experience is required.
- PowerBuilder is a plus.
- Microsoft developer certification credentials are preferred (MCPD/MCAD/MCSD)
- Experience with development of Windows Mobile applications
The successful candidate will also have experience designing and developing applications to run in a highly scalable, highly available hosting environment. Ability to be flexible, work with a team, and wear multiple hats is important to this role. Must have demonstrated the ability to solve problems and to easily learn and apply new tools, and should be able to get assignments done independently within the team framework.
